The mission of the Physician Patient Alliance (PPA) PAC is to Protect, Preserve, and Promote the Rights of Louisiana Patients, their Families, and the Healthcare Providers Who Serve Them.
Our collective efforts in 2024 were highly successful in ensuring that legislation that would have contributed to driving more physicians out of the workers' comp insurance program. It is increasingly hard to keep physicians interested in treating injured workers due to the overburdensome administrative work associated with getting reimbursed for workers comp cases in Louisiana.
The 2025 Regular Session of the Louisiana Legislature commences on Monday, April 14th and state lawmakers must adjourn sine die no later than 6:00 PM on June 12th. Even though the 2025 Session is a "fiscal only" session, each of the 144 lawmakers can file up to 5 non-fiscal bills.
The Physician Patient Alliance keeps our donors fully informed of any and all legislation that impacts injured workers. We urge you to support our advocacy efforts by making a donation to the PAC. Many of our donors have opted to sign up for recurring donations.

- To Preserve the Sanctity of the Doctor-Patient Relationship and the Important Mutual Trust it Requires.
- To Shield Louisiana Taxpayers from Blatant Cost-Shifting Policies Designed to Burden our Public Healthcare Systems with the Private Debts of Profiteering Corporations.
- To Promote Access to Quality Healthcare for All Hard-Working Louisiana Residents & Communities.
